In the Customer Documents section, there is a document type dropdown next to Choose File button. In this dropdown list, all the document type which starts with the * symbol represent the mandatory documents that are required to upload in order to ACTIVATE any customer created on or after 14th March, 2023.
Steps to upload mandatory document:-
- Click on Choose File.
- Select a File to upload.
- Select the document type from the list.
- Type a comment in the Comments box(if required).
- Click on

- Repeat step 1 to 5 to upload more documents.
- Now the document is uploaded but not saved. To save all newly uploaded documents click SAVE or UPDATE.
However, a customer can be created without uploading mandatory documents but the customer's status will remain INACTIVE.
Note: to upload documents of any other document type which is not listed, please choose Identify As and mention the document type in the comment.
